Share Xmind AI Maps

Share via Email

1. Click the Share button in the top-right corner of your mind map.

2. Under the Invite tab, enter the email addresses of your invitees and assign their access rights. Use spaces to separate multiple email addresses.

1. Click Send invitations. Invitees will receive an email with a link to join the collaboration.

2. You can also click Copy Map Link to manually share the map link with team members.

With the Free Plan, you can only share maps for viewing. For real-time collaboration, you will need to upgrade to the Premium or Business Plan.

Share a map with your entire team

You can easily make any map available to the whole team.

1. Click the Share button in the top-right corner of the map.

2. Under the Invite tab, go to Everyone at [team name], and choose Can View/Edit from the dropdown.

1. Your team members will immediately see the map on your shared workspace.

Share a Map with a Public Link

You can share a map with anybody, including people who don’t have an Xmind account, by publishing the map via a public link for visitors.

1. Click the Share button in the top-right corner of the map.

2. Select Publish.

3. Toggle on Allow Editing to let visitors edit the map.

4. Enhance security by toggling on Password to set a password for your public map if needed.

1. Click Copy Link and share it with your collaborators.

Embed map with the embed code（Xmind AI Only)

To  get the embed link of an Xmind AI mind map:

1. Click the Share button in the top-right corner of the map.

2. Open the Publish tab and click Publish.

3. Switch to the Embed tab.

4. You can select the content you want to embed from the Content dropdown menu, including Current Sheet and Current File.

1. Click Copy embed code. Go to a website or a platform where you would like to embed the map and insert the copied code in the page code.

You can modify or revoke these permissions at any time by clicking the Invite option under the Share menu.

Collaborate in Real-Time

To collaborate in real-time:

1. Ensure you and your collaborators are on a Premium or Business Plan.

2. Share the map using the methods outlined above.

3. Changes made by all collaborators will be visible instantly.

Real-time collaboration allows you to brainstorm, plan, and work together without any delay, ensuring smooth and efficient teamwork.

Stop sharing a map

You can stop sharing a map with your collaborators at any time. To change an individual user’s access:

1. Click the Share button in the top-right corner of the map.

2. Under the Invite tab, select Manage.

3. Choose the person whose rights you wish to remove, and click Remove.

If the map is shared via other means (with the whole team, or publicly), the user whose rights have been degraded may retain the previous level of access via team/public sharing.

Stop Publishing

1. Click the Share button in the top-right corner of the map.

2. Open the Publish tab.

3. Select Unpublish.

When sharing maps, you can control collaborators’ access levels:

• Viewer: Users can only view the map.

• Editor: Users can make changes to the map.

• No access: Users have no access to the map.
