Managing Comments
Add a Comment
Click anywhere on the map or a topic.
Click the Comment icon in the toolbar and type your comment.
Use @mentions to tag someone. For suggested mentions, simply start typing @.

Click the Send button or press Enter to publish your comment.
Edit a Comment
To edit a comment, open it, click the three dots (…), select Edit, update it as needed, and then click update it as needed, and then click Send or press Enter.

Delete a Comment
To delete a comment, open it, click the three dots (…), and select Delete.
Preview a Comment
Hover over any comment to preview and quickly view ongoing conversations or feedback directly on the map.
Move a Comment
You can reposition the comment by dragging and dropping it. To move it to a different element, simply click and drag it to the new spot.
Mark a Comment as Unread/Read
To mark a comment as unread, open it, click the three dots (…), and select Mark as unread/read.

Mark All Comments as Read
To mark all comments as read, open the Comments panel, click the Settings icon, and select Mark all as read.

Resolve a Comment
You can mark any comment thread as resolved to hide it from the map. Open the comment, and in the top-right corner click the Resolve icon.

To view resolved comments, open the Comments panel, click Filter, and select Show resolved comments.
Hide Comments on the Map
To hide all comments on the map, open the Comments panel, click the three dots (…), and select Hide comments.
Sort and Filter Comments
All comments in the map are listed in the Comments panel. You can sort and filter the comments by:
Date: Comments are displayed in chronological order, with the most recent comments at the top.
Unread: Prioritizes unread comments.

Manage Notifications
As the map owner, you automatically receive email notifications for all comments. If you don’t own the file, you’ll only receive notifications for @mentions, replies, or reactions to threads you’re involved in. Additionally, if you’ve linked Slack to your Xmind AI account, notifications will also be sent directly to Slack.

Pin a Thread
To keep a thread open for discussion and brainstormin, open the comment and select Pin. You can pin multiple comments to keep several threads open at the same time on the map.

To filter comments:
Click Filter at the top of the comment panel.
By default, comments are sorted by Date. Click Sort by unread to prioritize unread comments.
By default, the comment panel displays all comments in a map. Check Only your threads to view comments relevant to you, including:
Comments you’ve been @mentioned in.
Comments on threads you’ve replied to.
Comments you’ve created that collaborators have replied to.
You can also click Show resolved comments to display resolved comments.
To modify notifications for a file:
Click the Comment icon in the top-right toolbar.
Click the three dots (…) in the top of the right sidebar in the comment panel.
Choose one of the following:
Everything: Notifies you of any comments made on the map.
Just mentions and replies: Notifies you of @mentions, replies, or reactions to threads you’ve participated in.
Nothing: No notifications, but you’ll still get an email for @mentions.
