Quick Entry (only for Mac)
Xmind's Quick Entry feature enables you to jot down your ideas and thoughts instantly, without needing to open the application first. This convenient function allows for quick conversion of your notes into a structured mind map with just a click.
Activating Quick Entry

Once activated, the Xmind logo will appear in the menu bar, signaling that you can begin to input your ideas.

Configuring Quick Entry Settings
This setting adds Xmind as a background item, allowing you to use Quick Entry without having Xmind running.
To start using Quick Entry, simply:
Click on
in the menu bar.
Choose
To capture your thoughts:
Click the Xmind logo in the menu bar.
After inputting your ideas, select
Quick Entry can be set to start automatically upon system login:
Navigate to Xmind > Preferences > General.
Check the option for Start Quick Entry upon system login.
